After almost a decade of providing Eco Tours and Fishing Charters in the waters of Sutherland Bayou/ St. Joseph Sound and the Anclote River and her Bayous, Simply Kayaking has moved from the Tampa Bay area to the Nature Coast of Florida. We are grateful for the thousands of kayakers who gave us the privilege of guiding them along the waters of Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs. We look forward to our new adventures the Nature Coast will provide.
Our new location is Dixie County, Florida, which lies in the Heart of the Nature Coast. It is bordered on three sides by water; the Suwannee River, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Steinhatchee River. Their many springs, estuaries, and creeks offer some of the most beautiful kayaking Florida has to offer.
Safe Kayaking includes many key pieces of equipment, along with prep time and the effort needed to get everything to the water's edge. We take care of all of this for you; leaving only the adventure for you to experience. If you have kayaked before, you know that the fun and adventure starts and stops at the water's edge. Our goal is to let you focus on just that part; relieving you of everything else.
We started this adventure back in 2006 based on the principle of "Keeping it Simple." We also wanted to include everything that is needed for a fun time on the water. and make it all inclusive. Hidden costs and extras may be the norm elsewhere, but not here.
All that is missing for a great relaxing time on the water is you and your friends and family.
We do not have a store front, we don't sell or rent kayaks (tours, charters, and lessons include the use of the kayak-of course), and we don't have hidden costs or add-ons. What we do is take folks out on the water, or provide instruction for kayakers wanting to begin the sport.
